Day at The Commission Part One: What is VEOHRC and How Are They Fighting Gendered Violence at Work?

Our Day at the Commission is an absolute must for every working woman who has wondered what the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission can actually do to help with gendered violence at work.

Join the Chief Executive of the Victorian Equal Opportunity Commission Catherine Dixon for a panel discussion on the VEOHRC’s powers and purpose and a catered lunch. This is the perfect opportunity to meet Catherine, who is working hard to fight gendered violence at work in Victoria - and to ask herabout how she sees the fight for stopping gendered violence moving away from a complaints-based model.

This is a great event for Stop Gendered Violence at Work activists, union members and delegates, and working women to learn about how the rules are broken - and how we can better design and use the bodies there to defend us. Best of all, it's absolutely free.
